Players registering individually will be placed on one of our Mini-Stars or Mini-Canadiennes teams to participate in the Celebration. Players will be placed on a team based on their current category played.

We offer to each team:

– Competitive games in a tournament format
– Autograph/picture sessions with our Olympians / Les Canadiennes de Montreal players.
– Showcase game with the CWHL Montreal Les Canadiennes de Montréal.

Novice Tournament
Starting this season, we wish to go ahead with the new regulations from Hockey Canada and hold our Novice games cross ice. We strongly believe in the benefits of that structure with more players touching the puck and being involved in the play resulting to more plays at the net.

We offer to Novice teams :
– 2 games
– 1 final for the best 2 teams
– 1 on-ice skills development session with our coaches from Les Canadiennes de Montréal.
– 1 on-ice session for goaltenders with our goalie coaches.

“The research clearly shows, and parents should be looking at this, that their children are more actively engaged, which means they have the puck with them a greater number of times, they have the puck on their stick for a longer period of time, they’re interacting with the other players to a greater extent. They’re having to make more decisions, they’re having to control their bodily motions. So the whole milieu of key performance indicators is raised.”
Dr. Stephen Norris, Hockey Canada
