The team will now take part in the Quebec Women’s Hockey Tournament from January 25 to 28, 2024 in the U15-AAA division. This will be an incredible opportunity for players to compete at the next elite level in women’s hockey and rub shoulders with some of the best U15 players from around the world. This activity will be an essential visibility opportunity for the U13 for a subsequent invitation to the Team Quebec programs.
The Quebec Women’s Hockey Tournament was founded in 2013 and annually welcomes nearly 50 teams from across Canada, the United States and even Europe.
our Olympians
Olympians Caroline Ouellette, Marie-Philip Poulin, Lauriane Rougeau, Charline Labonté, Kim St-Pierre, Mélodie Daoust, France St-Louis, Catherine Ward, Noémie Marin and Julie Chu have been part of the Celebration in our previous editions.
our Mission
Founded in 2014, the Caroline Ouellette Girls Hockey Celebration is a non-profit organization.
Our mission is to inspire young girls ages 5 to 15 to play hockey while providing them the opportunity to meet successful role models both in hockey and academics. We connect Olympic athletes and National team players with the next generation of young players with big dreams.
We accomplish our mission by creating a supportive environment for the development and growth of players, officials, and coaches, starting at the initiation level in the sport of hockey.
Eligibility
We accept team registrations as well as individual player registration.
With our individual player registrations, we will place players in the appropriate division based on their current level. We will form teams and assign coaches to each team. Please make sure to carefully read the details pertaining to each division. Players must be registered with Hockey Canada HCR to take part in the Celebration. Please note that the Celebration is able to register a participant for this event including for example, a ringette player or one that is not registered this season.
