In a historical game at the Quebec International Peewee Tournament where two all female peewee teams faced each other, the Etoile team defeated the Detroit Little Caesars led by Olympian and NHL alumni Manon Rhéaume 2 to 0.
It was the first time that the Etoile team won its opening game at the tournament continuing to have the privilege to play at the Videotron Center. The Etoile team went on to beat the Atlanta Fire 3-2 before suffering a heartbreaking shootout loss to the St-Laurent Étoiles.
The team was led by Olympians Caroline Ouellette, Catherine Ward and Kim St-Pierre. As well as Casandra Dupuis, and Valérie Bois.

2017

Olympians Catherine Ward, Marie-Philip Poulin, Kim St-Pierre, Caroline Ouellette as well as team Quebec under 16 coaches Valérie Bois and Dawson College head coach Camille Dumais returned as the coaches of the Etoiles team for the 2017 Quebec Peewee tournament.
After losing its first game of the tournament, the team went on to win the next three games defeating Calgary, Collège Français in overtime and Boston in shootouts to earn the opportunity to play in the final in the Inter B division.
The Etoile team returned to the Videotron center to face the Latvia HK Pirati. Several thousands of fans came to cheer on our team that battled hard but were defeated 4-0 in the final.
Without a doubt, the incredible journey of the 2017 team provided female hockey with extraordinary exposure and inspired thousands of young girls to play hockey.
