Montreal, QC
our Mission
Founded by Olympian Caroline Ouellette in 2014, the Girls Hockey Celebration
is a not for profit organization that aims to promote and develop female hockey.
We offer young girls ages 5 to 15 the opportunity to participate in an all girls hockey event and to take part in a tournament with fun and competitive games. Our mission is to inspire young girls in hockey by allowing them to meet successful role models in athletic and academic that represent our Olympians and National Team players.
We hope that the Girls Hockey Celebration will help foster the love for hockey while contributing to the personal development of our young athletes.

Testimonials
I wanted to write while the girls are still so excited from the weekend. I can’t tell you how important this event was for them.
Today you presented a Player of the Game award to Toby, and I think it was the proudest moment in her life. She is so inspired by you and your teammates, and I think for the rst time, she feels lucky to be a girl in hockey and no longer jealous of the boys with NHL dreams.
This weekend I saw her play with more intensity than in all her years playing with boys, and I’m sure it’s because of the very special atmosphere. You are giving these girls such a fantastic opportunity. Congratulations on an amazing event!
(Also, I should mention that as a parent, I so appreciated your message about getting good grades in school!)
My younger daughter participated in the try hockey program and my older daughter competed in the hockey festival. She is a goalie on the pee wee A team for the Canadienne de Montréal.
I would like to thank you and the many people who helped organized the hock- ey weekend. It was a fantastic experience. I would also like to thank you for taking the initiative to both put the spotlight on girls hockey and contribute to the development of girls hockey in Quebec.
You and the other women on the Montreal Stars who participated in the week- end provided such great mentorship to the girls. It is quite inspirational.
